About The Opportunity:
As part of our expanding footprint in the region, we are currently seeking a qualified Tecno-commercial Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) Sr. Expert to manage the technical and commercial aspects of radioactive waste management, ensuring compliance with regulations and cost-effective solutions. The role includes supporting the development of a feasibility study for establishing an RWM company, overseeing the partner selection process, and supporting the design and construction of RWM Satellite Storage and final disposal facility. This position is site-based full-time in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities:
Feasibility Study Support: Assist in developing an RWM feasibility study, evaluating technical, economic, and regulatory aspects for establishing an RWM company.
Partner Selection: Oversee the partner selection process, including evaluation, communication, and document development.
Techno-commercial Analysis: Analyze the technical and financial aspects of waste management solutions for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all RWM activities adhere to national and international regulations.
Risk & Safety Management: Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for waste handling, storage, and disposal.
Design & Construction Support: Support the design, planning, and construction of RWM Satellite Storage and final disposal facilities.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare reports, audits, and compliance documents for management and regulatory authorities.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental/Nuclear Engineering, Radiation Protection, or a related field.
Experience: 15+ years in radioactive waste management, including at least 5 years in senior or expert roles. Proven experience working with top consulting firms (e.g., PwC, McKinsey, Strategy&).
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of radioactive waste management technologies, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks.
Commercial Insight: Strong financial and strategic understanding of evaluating waste management solutions for cost-efficiency and sustainability.
Design & Construction: Experience supporting the design and construction of RWM Satellite Storage or similar facilities.
Partner & Stakeholder Management: Experience managing partner relations, including selection processes and document evaluation.
Project Management & Communication: Proven ability to manage complex projects and excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
