About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency Expert with deep expertise in RF measurements and system-level analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, WLAN, Cellular, V2X, and RKE, and will play a key role in developing, validating, and optimizing RF solutions for advanced automotive and IoT applications.
What You Will Do:
Perform advanced RF measurements and analysis across multiple wireless standards (Bluetooth, WLAN, V2X, RKE).
Collaborate with chip suppliers to ensure compliance with design and performance specifications.
Develop and implement chip control strategies for RF components and modules.
Manage and operate RF test equipment including:
Rohde & Schwarz instruments
LitePoint wireless test systems
NI (National Instruments) platforms
Design and execute test plans for RF validation, certification, and troubleshooting.
Provide technical guidance on RF design, integration, and optimization for new product development starting from RFQ phase
Work closely with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, manufacturing) to ensure seamless RF performance.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality processes.
Train test engineering team members.
Introduce new RF technologies at Harman in cooperation with Harman Global engineering team.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
Proven experience in RF measurements and analysis for wireless technologies (Bluetooth, WLAN, Cellular, V2X, RKE, etc).
Strong knowledge of RF principles, antenna design, and wireless communication protocols.
Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (Rohde & Schwarz, LitePoint, NI).
Familiarity with chip-level development and control.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points if You Have
Experience in automotive RF systems and compliance testing.
Knowledge of regulatory standards (FCC, ETSI, etc.).
Programming skills for test automation (Python, LabVIEW, C# or similar).
