We have a unique opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join our team in Albany, WA, in a rotational planning position working between planning and treatment & simulation.
Rotational planners are focused on progressing toward the development and execution of higher complexity plans. The work includes completing plans that have been through automation however require adjustment to fulfil the prescription and ensure a high-quality plan for the patient. Rotational radiation therapists are credentialled in planning and checking and are expected to deliver plans of consistent high quality. These team members will also be rostered to treatment.
We currently have a full time Radiation Therapist position available, working 9days/fortnight. The successful candidate will work on a yearly roster that is 6-months in planning, then 6-months as a treatment and simulation RT, all located in Albany. Relocation assistance available for the successful candidate.
More specifically, you will:
Undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
Correctly administer all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
Ensure all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed.
Ensure patient care and centre standards are maintained.
We’re looking for someone who has:
Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
Current licence with the Radiological Council of WA.
Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
Able to develop and maintain strong and cooperative working relationships.
