This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth in Air Liquide's Research & Analysis (R&A) market, within the Energy & Environment market segments. You will work alongside and lead projects with other professionals, applying expertise in Business Development, sales, account management, and market analysis. This role provides the opportunity to significantly impact the technical sales and business development efforts within a leading industrial gas company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:

    • Identify and research potential new customers within Energy & Environment sectors.

    • Generate and qualify sales leads.

    • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations.

    • Utilise CRM systems (Salesforce) for accurate sales reporting and forecasting.

  • Account Management:

    • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers.

    • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

    • Manage prime accounts and drive customer satisfaction

  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends and opportunities across the R&A market.

    • Analyze competitor activities and market data to inform strategic decisions.

    • Prepare detailed market reports and presentations for stakeholders.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Air Liquide's products and services within the R&A market.

    • Apply knowledge of the technical applications of industrial gases.

    • Address and understand the technical requirements of customers.

  • Administrative and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

    • Generate and manage detailed reports on market activity and sales performance.

    • Handle administrative tasks related to market support.

  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office/Google).

  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Willingness to travel nationally and attend on-site visits.

  • Full UK Driving License
