Job Description
About the role:
- Process Standardization: Identify variations & standardization opportunities in journal processing, reconciliations, month-end close, and reporting activities; Ensure adherence to global accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
- Continuous Improvement & Transformation: Identify process inefficiencies and pain points through data analysis, bench marking, and stakeholder feedback. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring close and reporting issues.
- Technical Accounting & Analysis: Perform complex P&L analysis to identify variances, Intercompany analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation in support of financial reporting and disclosures.
- Automation: Providing valuable inputs and to coordinate, support the internal and external projects for driving successfully. Partner with TDS and Elevation teams to implement scalable automation solutions.
- Controls & Compliance: Ensure proper accounting treatment, adherence to GAAP, and strong internal controls over record to reporting process.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance leadership, Shared Services, IT, and business-facing teams to ensure data accuracy, reporting alignment, and program stability. Engage with senior leadership to present findings, trends, and recommendations.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management: Communicate project progress, benefits, and outcomes to leadership team and process leads in regular cadence.
About You:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience.
- Strong foundation in technical accounting (GAAP/IFRS) with experience in end-end RTR process
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (large datasets, complex formulas, financial modeling) and experience in projects (Process standardization/tool implementation).
- Experience with PowerBI or other BI/reporting tools a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to drive process improvement initiatives.
- Shift timing: 3 PM - 12 AM
