Quote Specialist (Contract)

The Quote Specialist will review specifications and market data for project quotations and be responsible for CRM data quality and selling process adherence for AOS tools. This position will work closely with the Sales Operations Leader, Sales Leadership and Distribution Consultants to determine pricing strategy for the local sales territory as well as selected strategic national accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize tools within the CRM to effectively manage orders, quotes, and project follow up.

• Drive pricing strategies through collaboration of team members, management direction and use of the various analytic tools.

• Primary contact with Allegion sales team regarding pricing and quotes.

• Work effectively within the CRM database and other Sales Systems as required.

• Work with RSO leadership, Distribution Consultants, and End User Sales Consultants to determine pricing strategy.

• Work closely with local team to increase project close rate. Review all working and pending projects throughout the territory and distribute the required information to the appropriate sales resources.

• Responsible for reviewing specifications for all projects at a level determined by the Sales Manager and plan a strategy for quoting. All discounts beyond specified limits are reviewed with the appropriate manager before issuing a quote.

• Research activities through Dodge are to be completed for project quotes which support the team's understanding of the price strategy to be developed.

• Drives the pricing strategies through collaboration of team members, management direction and use of the various analytic tools.

Fully responsible for data quality and selling process adherence for AOS tools

Document, implement and continually improve processes to facilitate sales performance and consistency.

Support data-driven, ad-hoc projects such as: territory realignment, customer compliance audits, program audits, market segmentation analysis, etc.

Establish a relationship with sales as a trusted consultant to help execute local, regional and corporate goals/projects.

What You Need to Succeed:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Detail oriented with a high level of organization and time management skills

  • Proficient w/ MS Office tools

  • Ability to learn industry specific software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing skills essential along with a bias for action

Education

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience

Experience

  • 2+ years data entry experience and/or sales administrative experience.
