Job Description
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for projects
- Evaluate and compare subcontractor quotations and make recommendations
- Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within budget
- Handle contract administration, including progress claims, variations, and final accounts
- Conduct site visits to track progress and verify work done
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on cost-related matters
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project risks
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field
- Relevant experience in construction or facilities management industry
- Good knowledge of contracts, costing, and tendering processes
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and relevant QS software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
