Position Overview

The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in ensuring the commercial and financial integrity of EOS projects. You will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, and contract administration, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and aligned with organisational commercial objectives. Operating within a fast-paced, global environment, you will provide accurate forecasting, support Statements of Work (SOWs), and contribute to the commercial success of Data Centre and technology-led programmes.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for assigned projects.
  • Manage tendering processes, evaluate contractor and supplier bids, and support procurement decisions.
  • Administer contracts, monitor commercial performance, and manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyse resource and labour costs, ensuring accuracy of commercial data and projections.
  • Support drafting, reviewing, and validating Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Provide commercial insights to project teams and stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • Participate in risk reviews and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal commercial processes and best practices.
  • Manage change to contractual commitments

 

What You Need to Succeed

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in cost management and commercial operations.
  • Strong understanding of RFP processes, bid evaluation, and contract administration.
  • Preferably experienced working in an electrical or network infrastructure discipline.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical ability with proficiency in relevant QS or project financial software

Personal Qualities

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational capability.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-moving environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience delivering or supporting Data Centre, electrical or network infrastructure
  • Familiarity with commercial tools and reporting systems.
