Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Quality Trainee/Apprentice/VIE. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality thermal systems.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949).
* Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for quality issues, using tools like 8D methodology.
* Support the preparation and execution of internal and external audits, including process and product audits.
* Contribute to the analysis of quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
* Assist in the development and update of quality documentation, such as control plans, FMEAs, and work instructions.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance quality processes and reduce defects.
* Support supplier quality activities, including initial sample inspection and supplier performance monitoring.
* Learn and apply Valeo's quality tools and methodologies.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Quality, Materials Science) or a related technical field.
* Strong interest in quality assurance and manufacturing processes within the automotive sector.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to adapt to new challenges.
* Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required; knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
* Prior internship or project experience in a manufacturing or quality-related field is a plus.
