Job Summary:**

The Quality Trainee (Lab) will gain hands-on experience supporting the Quality team in laboratory operations, assisting with testing, analysis, and documentation to ensure product and process quality standards are met.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist senior technicians and engineers in conducting various laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established procedures and specifications.
* Prepare samples for testing, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
* Record and document test results accurately and meticulously, including observations, measurements, and any deviations.
* Support the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring instruments are in good working order.
* Learn and apply quality control methodologies and statistical process control (SPC) techniques under supervision.
* Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and support corrective action implementation.
* Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality management system procedures within the laboratory environment.
* Assist with the organization and maintenance of laboratory inventory and supplies.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and quality documentation.

Job Qualifications:**

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a technical degree, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance).
* Basic understanding of quality principles and laboratory practices.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and analysis.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively in a team environment.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
