This Quality Assurance Technician function is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and fulfilment of all applicable regulatory and customer required specifications, and to maintain compliance to our Quality Management System. This position works in partnership with the Operations and Engineering teams to ensure that products and processes conform to applicable standards and specifications. This position monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials. The QA Tech will conduct tests, analyze measurements, and oversee production processes, perform first article inspections, and will typically be considered skilled through formal training and/or work experience.Nationality Requirements
Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
Job Description
Duties will include: performing incoming inspection for supplier parts and materials; performing audits of persons, processes and product on the production floor; help resolve routine production issues; and coordinate calibration activities for the site.
Typically, a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years' experience in assembly and test and 2+ years' experience in Quality Inspection.
May be required to maintain security clearance
Expected Compensation
The expected compensation range for this role is $53,600-$60,000. Please note this represents the minimum expected range. Ultra Maritime considers multiple factors when determining final compensation, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, a candidate’s relevant experience and education, certifications and training, as well as current business and market conditions.
