Incoming Inspection of Raw Materials Tasks, for molding and assembly area.
- Performs and documents the inspection of incoming raw materials, additives, purchased components and packaging supplies in accordance with Jabil PR Receiving Inspection Procedure and Inspection Plans. Determines acceptability and releases incoming material, based on sampling results.
- Operates quality control precision equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.), as required in the Inspection Plan to determine the quality of the raw materials.
- Authorizes to reject lots, accept conforming materials and to identify or segregate non-conforming materials and fill reports.
- Enters the Incoming Inspections' Receiving Discrepancy Reports and NCMR’s in the NCMR's Database. Follows up these reports until its closure.
- Stamps labels for acceptable incoming inspection raw material and additives.
- Identifies and moves all discrepant material to the assigned quarantine area for disposition, notifying the Quality Leads.
- Collects, stores and custody the retain sample for each material inspected.
- Coordinates and discard the retention samples once they comply with the established period according to their procedure (Quality Records).

- Environmental Monitoring Program administration
- Verification of Certificates of Compliances’ (CoC’s) and approval of products being shipped, asnecessary.
- Responsible for tracking material in QC Hold.
- Responsible for verifying if the supplier is on the list of suppliers.

- Responsible of performing as per Job Description’s SOP’s and work instructions.
- Complies with Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices/Procedures
- Responsible for the verbal and written report to the supervisor for each defect found in a product.
- Responsible that his/her payroll clock punches are registered before entering or leaving, following, and accepting company payroll policies.
- Understands and complies with all applicable Jabil PR, OSHA safety and environmental regulations, as well as ISO requirements. Uses appropriate safety equipment, as required.
- May participate in internal committees as safety, improvement events, etc., as required.
- Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or manager.
Receipt and Processing of Customer Returned Materials
- Audits the returned material for accuracy versus the Return Authorization. Escalates any discrepancy to the Quality representatives for resolution.
- Generates the associated NCMR and identifies the returned material with the Rejected Sticker.
- Enters the NCMR into the NCMR's database for tracking purposes.
- If the material will be reworked, coordinates with the Warehouse’s representative its movement to the designated area.
Release of Colorants and Resin Mixes
- Audits the colorants and resin mixes prepared at the Warehouse and releases it for manufacturing issuance.
