   Position Overview

The Quality Technician will focus on the incoming inspection areas, manufacturing support, non-conformances records, execution of change orders, monitoring, and developing an inspection plan for components.

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining incoming inspection plans.
  • Evaluate and maintain the Dock to Stock Program for incoming inspection.
  • Participate in the execution of GR&R studies (Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies) of the Measurement equipment or methods.
  • Production quality support as required.
  • Support or execute engineering or document change orders for process improvements.
  • Execute the non-conforming process and coordinate containment activities.
  • Develop Quality Alerts for various customer, internal, and supplier issues.
  • Support in internal/external Quality Audits.
  • Focused, target-driven with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

 

Required Qualifications

  • +2 years of experience in quality areas (process control or incoming inspection).
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office suites.
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical data (drawings, GD&T, etc.)
  • Knowledge and application of QA methodologies. (Fishbone Analysis,8Ds, Pareto, PDCA, or DMAIC.)
  • Knowledge and comprehension of sampling plans (AQL, ANSI, C=0, etc.).
  • Must be able to communicate fluently.
  • A self-starter, motivated, and able to positively motivate others.
  • Problem-solving skills.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Basic English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial/ mechanical engineering.
