About the Role

As a Quality Technician (m/f/d), you will play a critical role in ensuring that purchased parts, materials, and manufactured components meet stringent quality standards. You will develop inspection methods, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment, confirming accuracy and compliance.

  • Develop and refine inspection methods for manufactured parts.

  • Assist in determining methods, sequences, and procedures for inspection; perform intermediate inspections.

  • Utilize drawings, specifications, industry standards, and sketches, adapting inspection tools and procedures as needed.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specification requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

  • Document results by recording detailed test results and preparing quality problem reports.

  • Conduct intermediate problem-solving to identify root causes and implement solutions.

  • Apply statistical methods and use complex precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment (including CMM).

  • Develop audit methods, sequences, and procedures; perform basic audits.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education : Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Quality Assurance, or related technical field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools and equipment (CMM preferred).

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and quality standards (ISO 9001).

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in documentation and reporting of inspection results.

  • Knowledge of inspection planning and audit processes.
