The quality technical specialist for the Leesport facility is a key member of the Quality team. They must have strong technical skills and understanding of quality systems. The quality technical specialist will be actively involved in regular customer communications, customer complaints, internal improvement projects, dispositioning, and general quality tasks.

You Will Have the Opportunity To:

  • Support continuation and growth of the quality management system. Ensure all parts of the applicable standard, processes, and customer expectations are embedded within the site procedures. Lead functions such as internal audits, instrument calibration, corrective actions.
  • Lead various teams to reduce/resolve customer complaints, customer audit findings, internal rejections, etc. in a timely manner and ensure identified root cause/corrective and preventative actions are effective to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Maintain a consistent level of direct contact with the customer to ensure a positive relationship and respond quickly to concerns or questions.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the site directly related to the quality management system. Work with various departments to implement and modify procedures, work instructions, training matrices, forms, etc. where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ Years experience in a manufacturing environment including general knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality functions, technical products
  • Experience with ISO 9001system elements
  • Preferred: Experience working directly in a quality department is a plus
