Job Title: Quality Systems Technician
Job Summary
The Quality Systems Technician is responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Jabil's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure product quality and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist in the development, revision, and control of quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and forms.
* Support internal and external audits by gathering requested documentation, preparing audit areas, and assisting with follow-up actions.
* Perform data entry and analysis related to quality metrics, non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Assist in the investigation of quality issues, identifying root causes, and supporting the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
* Participate in the training of personnel on quality system procedures and best practices.
* Maintain accurate and organized records of quality activities and documentation.
* Support the calibration and maintenance of quality-related equipment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality system.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall quality objectives of the company.
Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
* 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment, preferably within an ISO 9001 or similar regulated industry.
* Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) principles and documentation.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools is a plus.
