Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Systems Specialist (Senior or Lead) to join our team in Fairfax, VA!

Argon ST, A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of The Boeing Company, has tremendous career development opportunities for a Senior Quality Systems Specialist to serve as Quality Management System (QMS) Lead in our Fairfax, VA office to ensure compliance with the CMMI model and ISO:9001 for all programs within Argon ST. This role will focus on supporting multiple Programs with overall compliance to Boeing and industry related Quality requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads Quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.
  • Leads multi-function, multi-site groups to develop company directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.
  • Leads stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.
  • Develops scope, schedule, plans and leads system process level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements, and reports results to management.
  • Trains senior management on preparation for third party audits.
  • Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • This job requires a government security clearance, which requires citizenship. Do you meet this requirement?
  • 5+ years of experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard
  • 5+ years of experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and Corrective Action
  • 3+ years of experience working with Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
  • 3+ years of experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systems
  • Experience conducting reviews, assessments, and audits of business process documentation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical, engineering or STEM field strongly preferred)

Level 5

  • 5 + years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard
  • 10+ years of experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and Corrective Action
  • 5+ years of experience working with Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
  • 3+ years of experience with project management
  • Experience with surveillance and compliance audits
  • Technical experience in an aerospace environment

Summary pay range: USD Level 4 (Senior) $125,800 - $170,200

                                             Level 5 (Lead) $154,700 - $209,300
