Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Systems Specialist (Level 4) based out of Auburn, WA to support the Community Manufacturing Partnerships team. As a member of the CMP Quality Team you will play an integral role improving, standardizing, and strengthening the Quality organization while supporting and growing our community outreach mission and uplifting local communities through meaningful employment.

The candidate must understand effective team dynamics and be able to work collaboratively to reach higher performance levels. They should be able to plan work clearly using systems thinking, involve relevant stakeholders, anticipate critical events, identify required resources, assign responsibilities, and set deadlines and performance expectations. They must use information-gathering techniques to analyze situations, identify implications, make sound decisions, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.

The candidate should maintain effectiveness during major changes in tasks or work environment and adapt to new structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide input on training system needs by identifying gaps in the Quality Training System and proposing resolutions, assessing training requirements and documenting gaps, propose viable solutions (e.g., curriculum changes, delivery methods, or resources); recommend priorities and coordinate with stakeholders to implement approved resolutions

  • Analyze process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root causes of problems

  • Participating in multi-function, multi-site teams to develop company directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics that ensure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements are deployed

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root causes of complex problems and develop and implement preventive or corrective actions

  • Conduct research and compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability

  • Participate in identifying and proposing projects, objectives, and milestones

  • Work with minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in a Quality Management Systems such as QMS

  • 3+ years of experience data mining, processing, and analysis with Excel

  • 3+ years of experience developing presentations for leadership

  • 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong analytical, communication and problem- solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience using QAR, Tableau, WebArt or equivalent application to review nonconformance data

  • Experience working with aerospace suppliers or manufacturing partners preferred
