- Pay range: $95,000 - $110,000

The Quality Systems Specialist provides technical enhancements of Quality systems with regard to Air Liquide Advanced Materials. They will develop a strong interface with global stakeholders within the ALAM business, exercising technical leadership and expertise across multiple quality product categories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as Business Owner for a defined set of Quality digital systems - LIMS, SAP, NWA

  • Acts as project manager for enhancements, or new functionality, or new system projects.

  • Lead governance process to evaluate and deliver system enhancement requests  in line with system scope and requirements.

  • Provides expert opinion and facilitates troubleshooting of initial issues and defect resolution.

  • Provides deep knowledge expertise across LIMS, SAP, NWA to improve, deliver, and sustain effective technology solutions that enhance current and long term business process and data needs.

  • Authors technical specifications and training materials related to the use of Quality digital systems. Exercises knowledge and leadership skills to effectively train cross functional teams on LIMS, SAP, NWA.

  • Ensures ongoing data protocols are maintained and updated.

  • Consistently utilizes continuous improvement thinking and methodologies to achieve quality digital objectives. 

  • A recognized expert company wide in areas of specialty Communicates technical concepts and opinions in a straightforward manner, even when it is difficult or unpopular. 

  • Adapts communication style to different situations and audiences. Routinely demonstrates active listening skills to understand audience viewpoints. 

  • Evaluates alternative solutions to quality software system problems, considers different perspectives and recommends the best path forward. 

  • Engage in continual learning to remain current on emerging technologies and tools.

  • Drive safety, quality, and excellence in all aspects of work.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

  • Act as a team lead when coordinating large enhancements and coach less experienced team members.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems (or related business field). 

  • 5+ combined years in information systems, quality, and/or technical experience.


 

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of quality software systems and quality best practices.

  • Working knowledge of data management and statistical software such as SAP Northwest Analytics platform Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), etc.

  • Ability to interpret and communicate digital system needs through review and analysis of complex business processes.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to, coach, and cross-functional teams on system fundamentals.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving skills.

  • Ability to interact and influence effectively and professionally at all levels of the organization.
