  • Develop and execute the annual internal audit schedule and plan, covering all elements of the QMS and critical manufacturing processes.

  • Conduct thorough audits of company departments and processes to verify compliance with documented procedures, ISO 9001 requirements, and applicable ASME code requirements (e.g., material traceability, welding procedures (WPS/PQR), welder qualifications, non-destructive examination (NDE), design control, and testing).

  • Track and follow up on all audit findings to ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and compliance is maintained.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare detailed, evidence-based audit reports for management review, highlighting areas of non-compliance, risk, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Collect and compile trend analysis related to audit findings to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Quality System Maintenance and Improvement:

  • Provide guidance and training to personnel on ISO 9001 and relevant industrial code requirements and best practices.

  • Contribute to the review and revision of the QMS documentation (manuals, procedures, work instructions) to maintain compliance and optimize quality processes.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment (e.g., oil & gas, power generation, or turbomachinery).

  • Demonstrated experience performing internal or external audits.

Required Knowledge and Certifications:

  • Deep knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard is essential.

  • Strong working knowledge of applicable ASME codes (e.g., BPVC Sections, B31 Piping Codes) and their application in manufacturing, welding, and inspection.

  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or equivalent accredited certification is strongly preferred.

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
