What’s the role
As an E2E Quality Supervisor, the role includes supervising testing of components and blended products according to GPC standards, coaching Lab Analysts, and ensuring all incoming and outgoing lubricants meet Shell and Thai government specifications. The position also involves updating quality control procedures in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025, and ensuring full compliance with Group HSSE & SP policies and local regulations.
What you’ll be doing
You will have below accountabilities:
Lead, coach, and develop laboratory analysts in the Lube section while overseeing day‑to‑day laboratory operations.
Supervise and perform testing of raw materials and finished products, adjust Bills of Material based on base oil/additive changes, and interpret test data to certify products meet specifications.
Participate in the quarterly Lubricants Laboratory Correlation Scheme (LLCS) and collaborate with Production to drive continuous improvement and Right First Time performance.
Work closely with the Quality Manager and Product Implementation Managers to optimize treat costs, and act as Quality Manager/Technical Manager for ISO 17025 in their absence (excluding financial and policy decisions).
Ensure full compliance with ISO standards, Group HSSE & SP policies, and local regulations, while providing safety-focused training to all subordinates.
What you bring
Apart from leadership skill and commercial acumen, you will need:
Diploma or higher degree in Chemistry or any related field
Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and technical expertise, with mastery in laboratory activities and solid knowledge of facility operations, product stewardship, and core CVP elements.
Proven ability to communicate, influence, and build shared vision across teams while demonstrating interpersonal effectiveness, valuing differences, and maintaining customer and stakeholder focus.
Skilled in motivating, coaching, and developing others; delivering results through teams; and effectively managing contract service providers, suppliers, and quality assurance activities.
Demonstrates creativity, innovation, courage, and self‑mastery, with the ability to manage change, maximize business opportunities, integrate customer requirements, and ensure compliance with control and exposure management standards.
Proficient in supply chain management fundamentals, business performance awareness, teamwork, and effective use of computer and communication systems.
