Process Overview*

Fraud Technology part of FCCAT (Fraud, Claims, Authentication) group develops integrated fraud prevention and detection technology solutions including fraud alerts, servicing, reporting and analytics across all consumer product channels. This team enables delivery of Fraud Detection services, building next generation fraud prevention infrastructure which will bring data across products and channels enabling customer centric analytics.

Job Description*

Individual would be working as a Fraud Technology Quality Assurance (QA) team member supporting automation testing.

Responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes. Ensures that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Builds and executes both manual and automated test suites, record and communicate the test results, and assist with triaging defects. Ensures regression test suites are maintained and well designed. Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Leads test planning, usually at a team level. When part of a Scrum team, ensures stories are well refined and contains clear acceptance criteria. Ensures in-scope and out-of-scope items are clearly identified during test planning. Implements the test framework for the team. Leads test case reviews and works with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage. Identifies automation opportunities and develops test automation for applicable test types. Designs test data and ensures data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments. Assists in identifying and managing sensitive test data. Executes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and records test results. Reports issues and defects along with the appropriate background information for review. Participates in triaging reported issues/defects and assists with resolving or escalating them as necessary. Creates and manages traceability. Traces tests forwards/backwards through the development lifecycle and back to requirements. Uses testing tools and follows processes to complete testing on a given test environment and assists with fulfillment of necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments. Maintains and catalogs test suites across test types (Smoke, Integration, Regression, etc.) Individual contributor.

Responsibilities*

  • Responsible for System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression and End to End Testing across releases.
  • Execute Functional and automation scripts, prepare execution reports and log defects.
  • Test Web based and Middleware Applications with detailed Test Planning.
  • Design BDD Scripts using the existing Selenium based Test Automation Framework.
  • Design/Enhance Reusable Test Automation frameworks based on requirements using Selenium.
  • Evaluating and bringing in the efficiency in existing testing process.
  • Participate in meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings. 

Requirements*

Education*

  • Graduation / Post Graduation: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Certifications If Any: ISTQB Certification

Experience Range*

  • 5 - 8 Years

Foundational Skills*

  • Hands on with Core Java.
  • Experience in Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution & implementation, Defect Management.
  • Experience with Test Management tools like - ALM, Octane, JIRA and /or Rally.
  • Should have hands-on experience in Web Services testing including Soap UI/XML, REST/JSON, MQ’s and Unix.
  • Should have working experience on Frontend, Database testing.
  • Should be well versed with Agile Delivery model.

Desired Skills*

  • Optimistic, results oriented, self-motivated and adaptable individuals
  • Previous testing experience in Fraud, Claims, or Collections technology preferred
  • Experience in test automation including UFT, Selenium or Tosca
  • Experience in using Test Management tools like HP ALM experience in developing queries on SQL or Oracle
  • Hands-on experience using Putty or Splunk to validate middleware logs
