Job Summary

As a Quality Senior Engineer, you will own and continuously improve our Quality Management System and help elevate quality performance across products, processes, and suppliers. You’ll partner closely with Technical, Product Management, Supply Chain, Contract Administrators/Quality Specialists, customers, and contract manufacturers to define meaningful quality metrics, translate data into insight, and lead practical improvement initiatives. This role has broad regional impact, supporting operations across North America and Latin America.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate quality objectives across internal and external interfaces (customers, suppliers, regulatory authorities, Contract Manufacturing, Technical, Engineering, and Product Stewardship).

  • Own the Quality Management System (QMS), including documentation control, metrics, training, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and management review/performance reviews.

  • Maintain ISO 9001 certification readiness, including leading the DPP NA ISO certification process and managing risk-based audit schedules for contract manufacturing facilities.

  • Define and administer Quality training requirements for Quality Engineers and contract administrators/quality specialists; provide training support for Technical, Engineering, and Contract Operations.

  • Manage customer satisfaction and complaint processes, including cross-functional investigations, timely root-cause determination, and customer-facing closure; serve as Complaint Coordinator for DPP North America and Latin America.

  • Drive continuous improvement through agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and data-driven problem solving to improve quality performance.

  • Leverage and ensure effective use of business processes and systems (e.g., QMS, PDM, EDMS, SFDC, PIMS, MOC, PSR, SAP/DPX) to support quality and compliance.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Science or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in a quality management/quality engineering role.

  • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and manufacturing/plant operations.

  • Experience with QMS/quality tools (e.g., RFCA, AQL, SPC).

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality auditing practices.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated analytical, team-building, and business process management skills.

Preferred:

  • 10+ years of experience

  • ASQ Quality Engineer

  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and/or certified Lean Practitioner

  • Certified ISO Lead Auditor

  • Regulatory experience with applicable certifications (NFPA, Oeko-tex, ISO13485, ISO11137)
