Responsibilities:

1.    Fully participate in new product design and development. Serve as the quality lead liaising with external customers, suppliers, and internal teams to conduct quality planning and spearhead the entire APQP process.
2.    Lead the establishment, maintenance, and optimization of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 quality management systems. Organize internal and external audits, utilize tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Six Sigma to ensure closed-loop issue resolution, and guarantee compliance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements (CSR).
3.     Establish comprehensive quality defenses from raw material intake to after-sales service based on core automotive mat materials (PET/PVC/TPE/XPE/microfiber leather), continuously enhance quality control capabilities, spearhead quality improvement initiatives, and reduce quality costs.
4.    Lead system audits and performance enhancement for key raw material suppliers (chemicals, fabrics), drive proactive supplier quality capability development, and mitigate supply chain risks.
5.    Build a quality engineer (QE/SQE) and inspection team, establish quality data dashboards and COPQ analysis mechanisms.
6.    Participate in design reviews and engineering changes as the quality representative.
7.    Organize and implement internal/external testing, with expertise in automotive interior standards.
8.    Use English as the working language for technical reporting and project synchronization with overseas group teams, international clients, and headquarters.

Qualifications:

1.  Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Manufacturing, Automotive Engineering, Quality Management, or related fields; 5+ years of automotive parts quality management experience. Experience directly liaising with leading new energy vehicle OEMs (Xiaomi, NIO, XPeng, Li Auto, BYD, Tesla, etc.) is preferred, with familiarity with their quality standards and high-pressure communication rhythms. Understanding of B2C sales models and associated quality control risks.
2. Minimum 3 years of quality control experience for automotive interior components (floor mats, seats, dashboards, etc.), with expertise in soft interior material properties and forming processes. Experience with floor mat projects (PVC/TPE/XPE) is preferred.
3. Proficient in IATF 16949 and the five core tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC). Capable of independently developing control plans and adept at applying 8D/Six Sigma methodologies to resolve complex quality issues. VDA6.3 or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.
4. Fluent English as a working language (CET-6 or equivalent). Japanese proficiency preferred. Capable of chairing meetings, participating in international quality conferences, and collaborating seamlessly with overseas headquarters.
5. Excellent technical communication skills at customer sites and strong business acumen. Proficient in driving cross-departmental collaboration and rapid decision-making within matrix organizations.
6. Adapt to the fast-paced, high-standard environment of the automotive interior industry with rapid response and crisis management capabilities. IATF 16949 internal auditor certification is preferred.
