Job Summary**

The Quality Jr. Engineer at Jabil, Inc. supports quality assurance activities, ensuring products and processes meet established standards and customer requirements. This role involves assisting with quality control, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
* Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
* Collect and analyze quality data, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
* Support the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate quality records and documentation, including inspection reports and test results.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related problems.
* Participate in internal and external audits, providing support and documentation as required.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
* Support training activities related to quality standards and procedures.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
* 0-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment.
* Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D).
* Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
