We are looking for a Quality Summer Intern to join our Exlar team!

As our Quality Intern, under direct supervision you will be assigned various quality tasks which may be administrative, analytical, hardware, or software based in nature for our actuation manufacturing facility. An Intern typically represents a college student in their sophomore or junior year who is looking to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. This Intern position will run approximately between June 1st through August 28th.

Location: Chanhassen, MN

Salary/hourly rate: $24.00/Hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Under close supervision, monitors the flow of material through the manufacture/test process and final inspection.
  • Performs data pack and shipping document review.
  • Assists with the review of inspection/test failure and rejection reports to identify project failure trends and provides recommendations for corrective action.
  • Assists Quality Engineering and Quality Inspection in the development of inspection plans.
  • Provides assistance to inspection personnel in the identification and resolution of problems encountered during hardware flow to ensure acceptable quality levels are maintained.
  • May assist with system and process audits.
  • May perform actual inspection of hardware when required.

Representative Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
