Your Opportunity: Taylor Print & Visual Impressions is looking for a Quality Inspector to join the team at our Duluth, GA facility! As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every product meets customer requirements and production standards. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will help maintain our reputation for excellence.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Verify that final work products align with job ticket instructions and meet customer specifications
  • Inspect materials by confirming manufacturing or industry standards, performing visual and measurement tests, and rejecting non-compliant items
  • Document and return products for rework when necessary
  • Communicate discrepancies to operators and supervisors clearly and professionally
  • Conduct walk-through inspections across multiple areas to ensure job accuracy
  • Cross-train in various departments to broaden your skills
  • Report quality issues or concerns to management promptly
  • Ensure all outgoing items are 100% accurate
  • Learn and understand our production process and the QA role within it
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by following standards and legal regulations
  • Operate equipment as needed to meet production deliverables

 

Your Shift:

  • 2nd Shift; 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM; Monday - Friday with overtime as required

You Must Have:

  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Basic measuring skills- able to read a ruler and other measurement devices
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Be able to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedule
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Prior experience within the print industry/fast paced high production environment
  • 3+ years’ experience
