WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Inspecting:
Visually, manually, and digitally examining products and raw materials to ensure they meet Anduril standards as described by engineering both internal and external, as well as quality management system (QMS) requirements.
Measuring:
Using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and/or metrology to measure product dimensions to verify they match the design.
Testing:
Running tests to identify defects and using machines to test products via Tap testing, manual testing, and NDT/NDI methods.
Comparing:
Comparing products to 3D CAD model and specifications to ensure they meet designed tolerance.
Recording:
Reporting inspection and test procedures and their resultant data or results uch as weights, temperatures, and quantities inspected
Process Improvements:
Recommending changes to the assembly or production process based on findings from inspections/tests.
Rejecting:
Removing/Red tagging products and materials that don't meet specifications until the issue is resolved.
Communicating:
Communicating product quality standards to Technicians, leads, and managers, and communicating feedback on inspection method effectiveness to engineers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance.
High School graduate or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of Composite Fabrication or aerospace equivalent experience.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally.
Polished communication and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented, and motivated to improve processes and increase quality
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Self-autonomy and strong work ethic.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work at a fast pace, medium to heavy duty assembly in a manufacturing environment.
Fit enough to complete regular stair climbing, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, turning, and standing for extended periods.
Capable of lifting at least 40 pounds and withstand frequent repetitive movement of hands with a variety of tooling.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
