Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead team in E2E delivery of test planning, preparation and execution activities.
  • Responsible for overseeing for all project/release testing (e.g. integration, business acceptance, performance, operability, deployment verification).
  • Coordinate and plan proactively and effectively with partners (e.g. business, CIO group, Infrastructure).
  • Should have hands on experience in Automation (Selenium- Java- Gherkin- Rest Assured)
  • Should have Capital market Prior Banking knowledge experience
  • Ability to understand/perform and lead accessibility, API and Device testing
  • Should have practical experience as SDET in Continuous testing, CI/CD etc
  • Oversee how testing strategies, plans and project documentation are created using risk analysis methodologies and tools that weaves into how a project's developed.
  • Manage documentation creation, review, sign-off (e.g. strategies, plans, schedule, cost estimates, test cases, dashboards, defect logs, test phase closure reports, entry/exit criteria, gating), ensure artifacts are true to standards and audit requirements.
  • Communicate, address scope changes that may impact testing.
  • Participate in test case creation, execution to meet timelines, support the team in creating reusable test assets for both manual and automated test scripts.
  • Oversee or chair daily defect status calls to ensure prompt, thorough documenting, tracking, testing.
  • Report on test planning, execution, defects using metrics.
  • Develop, manage operational processes. ensure QA processes tie into technology delivery practices, standards.
  • Manage intake and demand, perform risk assessments, communicate/negotiate timelines, budget, staffing, scope, milestones.
  • Manage business relationships to build knowledge of their business, applications and corresponding IT applications.
  • Counsel IT and business partners, raise awareness.
  • Accountable for ensuring team gives sufficient attention to managing risks and succeeds in facilitating the overall escalation process (e.g. timely issue notification, escalated risk and issue reviews, contingency plan development, risk resolution).
  • Ensure testing does not impact the production environment (e.g., file transmission scheduling), meets information security/privacy policies/guidelines.
  • Implement and ensure team adherence to quality, operational, and service management processes.
  • Provide cost/resource estimates and revisions, track financials, provide forecasts.
  • Develop, manage departmental plan & budget to ensure funds are used appropriately, comply with budget targets and vendor terms and conditions.
  • Manage intake and demand, coordinate resources. identify resources across work streams, ensure maximum resource effectiveness.
  • Participate in test artifact audit reviews.
  • Provide coaching, development, succession, recruitment, resource management, team leadership, input into performance and development plans.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in automation frameworks and test design automation
  • Experience in managing large cross functional teams (on average 10+ direct reports, and vendor collaboration as well)
  • Working as an Automation QE Lead in Selenium with Java, understanding of the web services, API concepts
  • Experience in creation of test automation strategy, collaborate with enterprise on the right framework selection and implement at a portfolio level using best practices, automation tools stack.
  • Experience working with software delivery methodologies (Agile)
  • Experience with Agile test management using JIRA , JTMF and Confluence
  • Develop an automated testing solution with a focus on optimized test coverage, service virtualization, high performance and easy maintainability
  • People management – including employee's performance and yearly reviews
  • Innovation and process optimization mindset
  • Prior banking experience

  • End-to-End test management including internal and external partner management
