Position Overview

The Quality Engineer Tech supports the development and implementation of quality control and quality assurance processes. This role assists in ensuring that products meet company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer Tech works closely with senior quality staff and production teams to monitor processes, identify issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

What you'll do

  • Assist in maintaining quality management systems, including basic documentation, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Support the use of quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Conduct routine quality control activities, including inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, and checking finished products.
  • Collaborate with production teams to apply established quality standards, perform acceptance tests, and help ensure process consistency.
  • Help support the non-conformance process by gathering data, documenting issues, and participating in root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement teams to resolve recurring quality issues.
  • Communicate with customers as needed to understand quality requirements and help ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with preparation for external audits and inspections by organizing documentation and supporting compliance activities.
  • Support and learn from senior quality team members; participate in training to grow technical and professional skills.
  • Promote an organizational culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • All other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • 0–2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or related roles (internships count).
  • Some experience with data analysis or process improvement is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to learn complex quality concepts.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic knowledge of quality management systems (or willingness to learn).
  • English proficiency (90%).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
  • One or more quality-related certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt, ASQ) preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of basic manufacturing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Interest in developing skills in quality tools such as Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA, and similar methodologies.
