Position Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our Quality and Environmental Management Systems. You’ll lead audits, develop documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer expectations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving quality excellence across operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop, revise, and maintain Quality and Environmental Policies, Procedures, Engineering Standards, and Work Instructions to ensure compliance and operational consistency.

  • Plan, schedule, and lead internal audits for ISO certifications documenting results and driving corrective actions.

  • Provide training and guidance to teams on statistical tools, quality methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques.

  • Establish and monitor process performance standards and metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Lead root cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive action systems across departments to resolve quality issues effectively.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests for quality-related information, ensuring timely and accurate communication.

  • Analyze quality and environmental system data to support executive management reviews and strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and service-related quality initiatives.

  • Act as a technical resource for quality-related matters, providing hands-on support and guidance to manufacturing and maintenance teams.

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of ISO standards and certifying agency requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance and readiness for audits.

  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and internal business developments to proactively adapt quality systems and practices.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or related field.

  • Strong understanding of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Solid analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to work hands-on in a production environment.

  • Willingness to travel frequently during initial training and plant setup (up to 75%), and regularly post-launch (up to 50%).

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
