Job Description:

We are looking for a highly technical and results-driven QE Program Manager to lead our quality engineering initiatives across complex insurance platform implementations. This role requires strong expertise in Guidewire policy center , billing center, Claim Center & hands-on experience in automation and shift-left testing practices, and the ability to manage cross-functional QE teams in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end QE program delivery for large-scale insurance platform implementations for Guidewire Claim center.

  • Define and execute quality strategies, test automation frameworks, and continuous testing approaches aligned with agile and DevOps practices.

  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to embed shift-left testing and early quality practices.

  • Manage and mentor distributed QE teams, fostering a high-performance culture with strong accountability.

  • Drive consistent quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement across all delivery streams.

  • Partner with enterprise quality, infrastructure, and CI/CD teams to integrate quality into the entire software delivery lifecycle.

  • Improve testing coverage and stop defect leakage to production.

  • Ensure regulatory and compliance-related quality standards specific to the insurance domain are met

  • Develop an automated testing solution with a focus on optimized test coverage, service virtualization, high performance, and easy maintainability.

  • Meet with business and technology leads to understand objectives and map out testing automation requirements; prepare documentation on selected tools and established processes to allow maintaining a set of highly reusable automated test scripts and virtual services to be used for integration and regression testing on the program level

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency using automation, virtualization, and integration with CI/CD pipeline

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering with at least 3+ years in a QE program management or leadership role.

  • Strong hands-on technical background in test automation (UI, API, performance, and data validation).

  • Deep understanding of Guidewire policy center , billing center  testing and architecture.

  • Experience in the P&C insurance domain, including policy lifecycle, billing, claims, and rating engines.

  • Proven track record managing complex QE programs with multiple teams, vendors, and releases.

  • Familiarity with tools like Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, Postman, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, and Tosca.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications in Guidewire, ISTQB, or Agile methodologies.

  • Experience AI solution testing & integrations.

  • Exposure to performance engineering, data quality, and production monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog).
