The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all Quality Assurance (QA) activities are executed efficiently and effectively throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. Strong stakeholder engagement is critical to the success of this role, enabling collaboration across functions to ensure full compliance with Quality Management requirements.Nationality Requirements

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute all quality assurance and compliance activities within the assigned area of responsibility
Manage and facilitate Material Review Boards (MRBs)
Ensure the timely and effective management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Perform Root Cause Analysis
Establish, monitor, and maintain relevant quality performance metrics
Collaborate with scheduling teams to ensure quality-related activities are clearly understood and integrated into project plans
Provide assurance that all projects comply with applicable Quality Management Systems and standards
Deliver Quality awareness and training to internal teams as required
Identify, escalate, and communicate concerns related to supplier and manufactured product conformance
Conduct independent assurance assessments, including review of:
Build and manufacturing documentation
Engineering change requests
Company procedures and processes
Equipment calibration records
Customer contractual and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma, degree, or equivalent relevant work experience
Minimum of 3 years’ quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Auditing experience within a quality or manufacturing environment
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute quality objectives
Eligibility to obtain Canadian Government NATO Security Clearance and meet all requirements for working on Canadian Controlled Goods projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desired Skills & Attributes
Working knowledge of IFS ERP (advantageous)
Qualified Internal Auditor
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001:2015, and AQAP standards (advantageous)
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 / IPC-A-620 standards (preferred)
Ability to perform effectively under pressure while delivering consistent, measurable results
Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams
Positive, proactive mindset with a high level of self-motivation
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
Reliable, well-organized, and capable of working with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Typically, a Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of related experience. May be required to maintain security clearance
