Summary pay range: $77,968 - $117,324 annual salary.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Know and apply customer specifications, internal quality procedures, and regulatory requirements; conduct audits and maintain quality documentation and corrective action plans.
  • Review and approve production planning for quality, first article inspection, GD&T, and model-based definition requirements; analyze technical requirements to develop quality plans.
  • Participate in design reviews, develop part inspection plans, and lead small-scale continuous improvement projects.
  • Communicate regularly with customer Quality Assurance teams on qualifications, corrective actions, and program status; collaborate with suppliers and Supplier Quality to ensure compliance.
  • Model safe working habits and operate in compliance with company quality systems, policies, and Code of Business Conduct.
  • Execute quality inspections, audits, and compliance checks for production processes.
  • Utilize advanced root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making to resolve quality issues.
  • Perform risk-based quality planning and support supplier quality evaluations.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation and support implementation of digital quality tools (dashboards, analytics).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship/training on quality tools and processes.
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, or related field required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Engineering; aerospace manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and Nadcap requirements.
  • Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, SPC, CAPA) and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, including MBD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies; ASQ certification and Lead Auditor training preferred.
  • Competence in statistical analysis and reporting; strong technical and data-driven decision-making skills.
