Join the DuPont Corian® QA/QC Lab team and play a key role in driving product quality at our solid surface manufacturing plant in Buffalo, NY. This position offers a unique opportunity to support and strengthen our Quality Management System while collaborating closely across Production, Quality, and Technical teams.

We’re seeking a motivated professional with laboratory production experience—ideally with color control expertise—who brings strong analytical, communication, and partnership skills.

Relocation is not supported for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze quality reports and defective products to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide hands‑on internal customer support to production lines.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Technical Engineers on improvement initiatives and plant projects.
  • Participate in supplier evaluations and certification audits.
  • Conduct ISO 9001:2015 internal audits.
  • Actively engage in lab team continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in root cause investigations related to product quality.
  • Perform data analytics and reporting on key Quality KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or similar field.
  • Minimum 1+ years of quality or laboratory experience; background in color testing strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, quality systems, and product specifications preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint; strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience working in a unionized production environment preferred.
  • Highly organized self‑starter with strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
