We are currently seeking a Quality Control Team Leader, Finished Products to join our Nyon site as a key member of the Quality Control organization.

Reporting to the Finished Products Supervisor, the Team Leader is responsible for developing, leading, and inspiring a team of analysts to consistently deliver excellent standards of safety, quality, service, and value. This role plays a critical part in translating business strategy into execution through an engaged, capable, and high‑performing team.

The position ensures that the Nyon site maintains the highest standards in Environment, Health, Safety & Wellness (EHSW) and Quality, while successfully delivering site objectives and supporting continuous improvement across Finished Products quality control activities.

Your Role at Haleon

EHS Responsibilities – All Associates

  • You understand, comply with, and actively promote all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines. You report unsafe conditions, injuries, illnesses, and hazardous material releases, wear required personal protective equipment, complete EHS training, and follow all safe work procedures.

Quality Responsibilities – All Associates

  • You adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (e.g., Data Integrity, Deviations, Lab Investigations) in line with QMS policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Compliance: You ensure full compliance with EHS, cGMP, and Quality standards. You lead safety and quality investigations as required, act as a subject matter expert during audits, and consistently lead by example in applying company policies and procedures.

  • People Leadership: You provide full leadership to a team of analysts in a fast‑moving FMCG production environment, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, compliance, and output expectations.

  • Process Management: You establish, implement, and validate standards across the 4Ms (Material, Manpower, Method, Measurement) to manage safety, quality, and output. You use Haleon systems (SAP, LIMS, Veeva, Workday) to manage analytical batch records, results, lead times, and procedures. You create, update, and maintain analytical SOPs, work instructions, and testing instructions.

  • Performance Management: You apply structured problem‑solving and performance management tools to drive real‑time issue identification, effective resolution, and continuous improvement. You act as lead investigator for quality and performance events.

  • Talent Development: You identify, develop, and retain key talent, ensuring development plans are defined and executed. You set clear performance expectations and provide regular, constructive feedback.

  • Resource Management: You manage task allocation, workload balancing, staffing needs, and recruitment activities to ensure operational continuity and performance.

  • Project Implementation: You coach and support the delivery of improvement initiatives, managing scope, timelines, and costs to ensure successful project outcomes.

Number of Direct Reports: 10-15

What we expect from you

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field and bring at least 5 years of leadership experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
  • You preferably have experience in an FDA‑regulated environment, solid knowledge of GMP requirements, project management exposure, SAP familiarity, and strong computer skills (Empower, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • You demonstrate a clear understanding of Root Cause Analysis and how to apply it effectively.
  • You are able to lead teams through change and actively drive continuous improvement.
  • You thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are able to work with minimal supervision.
  • You are fluent in French and English; proficiency in both languages is required.
