Job Description
Job Overview
The Quality Control Specialist performs quality control of raw materials and products manufactured in accordance with GMP requirements, coordinates stability studies and internal standards management, prepares and updates quality control documents, participates in the resolution of deviations, non-conformities and complaints.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares, updates, and reviews quality control documentation in accordance with ISO 13485 and GMP requirements.
- Ensures timely and consistent quality control of products manufactured under GMP requirements and of raw materials: inspects the quality of products and raw materials; evaluates quality test results and monitors trends; ensures timely reporting and communication of quality test data for products and raw materials.
- Reviews and aligns technical documentation related to quality testing, raw materials, and products.
- Coordinates and performs product stability studies according to approved programs and prepares reports.
- Coordinates quality control risk assessment activities.
- Coordinates the initiation of training for employees working in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Participates in company quality control processes (including handling of deviations, non-conformities, and complaints).
Experience and Qualifications
- University Bachelor's or Master's degree in molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, genomics, or similar fields.
- Laboratory work experience (preferably experience in GMP processes).
- Knowledge and practical skills in quality testing methods (HPLC, qPCR)
- Understanding of protein product properties (an advantage)
- Excellent English and Lithuanian language skills in verbal and written communication.
- Digital literacy in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 quality standards. Understanding of GMP requirements.
Salary
1983–2970 gross/month
The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and competencies.

Compensation
The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €1 983,33–€2 970,83.
