At FLSmidth, we are committed to enabling our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Officer to join our Manufacturing team, supporting the delivery of high-quality products across our operations.
As a QC Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring products meet FLSmidth’s quality standards through inspection, testing, and process monitoring. You will work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement, support compliance, and uphold our commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections in line with specifications
Perform testing and identify defects or non-conformances
Raise NCRs and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Maintain accurate quality records and ensure audit readiness
Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Support root cause analysis and resolution of quality issues
Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality outcomes
Experience in quality control within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Pronto)
