1.0 Audit Functions
Process/Product Audit
1.1 Plans schedule of conduct of Process/Product Audit.
1.2 Evaluates process efficiency with reference to all applicable standards and customer specific requirements.
1.3 Assesses effectiveness of document control procedure by thoroughly reviewing approved documents and checking actual implementation and effectiveness at the Probe, Assembly and Test productions lines.
1.4 Measures consistency of implemented committed actions (corrective and preventive actions) with line familiarity and expertise.
1.5 Leads support groups in reviewing and assessing control systems established as highlighted in process/product audits.
1.6 Reports all significant observations (in-compliance and deviations) seen during audit and leads the concerned department to provide appropriate actions.
1.7 Ensures that concerned departments immediately respond with appropriate actions through differentmeans of communication.
1.8 Provides Management inputs on areas that need to be improved.
2.0 Certification Functions
2.1 Assess the required documents/records based on the desired certification or re-certification requirements and procedures to obtain effective operational results.
2.2 Evaluates the certification process and discusses with the Training Systems Core Group (TSCG) any change that needs to be implemented to ensure effectiveness of the certification process.
2.3 Conducts re-certification not only to certified personnel but also including de-certified personnel.
3.0 Tracking of Company Commitments on Quality Goals
3.1 Works hand-in-hand with Probe, Assembly, Test and support groups in the timely and effective implementation of actions required with line expertise and understanding of the root cause of problems encountered.
3.2 Works with Management Team regarding further continuous improvement actions, potential inconsistencies and possible discrepancies that can be noted while tracking committed actions.
4.0 Other Duties
4.1 Maintains a good records system for the Audit and Certification documents and records, with high level of confidentiality.
4.2 Attends to other external customers/auditors needs related to quality systems.
4.3 Supports programs of other sections/departments and company activities.
4.4 Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
