QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN

The QA Team have a new opening for a Quality Assurance Technician.

Applicants will be required to have previous production experience, have an eye for detail and the ability to absorb and understand technical information relating to the production of custom build golf clubs.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the quality of custom build golf clubs meets required and approved specifications, concentrating on:

  • Prepare and inspect custom components to order requirements, before transfer to the production line for assembly.
  • Inspect assembled equipment, at agreed points in the production process, to check for production errors and inconsistencies.
  • Report findings to Team Leader – Production Support and, if appropriate, arrange for corrective measures to be completed by Repairs Technician.
  • Inspect equipment following repairs.
  • To operate machinery using approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • To work with colleagues, Team Leaders, and the Production Supervisors to achieve pre-determined targets and ensure high levels of quality are achieved and maintained.
  • To strive to achieve high quality standards and report errors.
  • To maintain a clean and hazard free working environment.
  • To always follow and adhere to Health and Safety rules and guidelines.
  • Any ad hoc duties assigned, including working in different departments within the SuperHub, as required.

Essential skills to have to apply for this role:

  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
  • Physically fit to undertake various manual handling tasks.

We will be asking successful applicants to attend a practical assessment session, these will take place on Monday 9th or Tuesday 10th February, date & time to be confirmed.

Applicants that are successful following the assessment will be invited to interview on either Monday 16th or Tuesday 17th February.
