General Purpose of the Job
Lead level abilities to deliver Quality Assurance activities for the DaVita Village related to a specific functionality. Able to develop and mature activities in their area of specialty.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Test Lead, Management, and Coordination
Lead program from QA perspective
Coordinate and communicate with Project resources across the distributed teams to complete assigned projects
Active participation in project ceremonies and lead as necessary
Escalates items appropriately – but is capable of driving appropriate resolution for 90%+ issues in area of specialty themselves
Document and lead risks mitigation plans during project lifecycle
Lead process improvement initiatives
Test Design and Execution
Estimate effort required to perform all QA activities assigned
Review requirements and design documents to ensure adequate understanding to develop test plans, test scenarios and test cases
Creates and executes test cases to ensure appropriate test coverage
Recommend improvements and/or corrections to developers for products assigned
Lead defect triage meetings
Mine for data, backend validation, and perform data quality analysis via SQL
Test Documentation and Closure
Document status and final reports for QA activities
Troubleshoots and resolves or recommends solutions to a diverse range of complex software testing problems. Provide solution to fix the root cause and lead the fix as applicable
Assist with UAT as needed for data creation
Education and Experience
Specialized Experience, Training, Education, or Qualifications
Expert knowledge Agile, Waterfall and Iterative frameworks
Expert knowledge of software testing, quality assurance best practices
Expert knowledge with Test Management and Automation tools
Advanced DB testing experience with one or more DB platforms
6+ healthcare domain knowledge
Minimum 10 years of relevant QA experience with multiple release cycles
Large scale interconnected system experience
Experience and skills in mentoring co-workers
Ability to lead a program from QA perspective
Experience in leading distributed teams at Program level
Demonstrated strengths in coordinating, attention-to-detail, follow-through, reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Possesses solid project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
Knowledge of Performance and Automation Testing practices and capabilities
Possess strong people and communication skills
