Quality Assurance, SrAssc

FX Data lake team , is building the data hub for Foreign Exchange Application business data.We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who is responsible to deliver on the databricks with the software quality assurance (Automation & Manual testing) in an agile environment and can comprehend new technologies, come up to speed quickly and adapt to evolving requirements

As a SQA engineer, you will

• Design, prepare, and implement test strategy and test scenarios.
• Conduct testing and defects status meetings, Work closely with Business and Development teams to resolve quality problems and provide information in the global team.
• Participate in daily stand ups, iteration planning, product demos, and retrospective meetings.

Core/Must have skills:

• Responsible for testing Databricks data platforms and related big data / data warehouse products, including defining and executing comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, and test scenarios to ensure product quality and delivery stability.
• Proficient in using SQL for data validation, analysis, and issue troubleshooting, ensuring correctness, accuracy, and consistency of data processing logic and results.
• Use at least one mainstream programming language (such as Python, Java, or Scala) to develop and maintain automated test scripts, improving testing efficiency and coverage.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with overseas or global teams, participating in global project delivery and ensuring alignment of testing standards, processes, and quality objectives.

Good to have skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) or data platform deployment, operations, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, test platform development, and building automated testing frameworks.
• Solid foundational knowledge of the financial industry, with an understanding of common financial business processes and data processing scenarios;
• familiarity with foreign exchange (FX) business concepts is a plus.
