QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as Quality Assurance Specialist for base building and grounds functions and has responsibility for surveilling a government workforce and ensuring compliance-with requirements.
  • You will use checklists to evaluate Facility Maintenance services: HVAC, plumbing and pipefitting, carpentry, equipment repair, painting, signs and signage, concrete and masonry, sheet metal working, welding, electrical, alarms, and locksmithing.
  • You will review and evaluate technical data to identify characteristics that may affect the quality of the finished products.
  • You will investigate customer complaints and deficiency reports, initiate action to determine cause; and make recommendations for resolutions.
  • You will prepare Quality Surveillance Reports and maintain files.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and surveilling multiple trade workforces for compliance and execution of maintenance and repair to property.
