Job Summary: This position will be assigned to the Air Force Service Center at Port San Antonio, TX. This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.

Qualifying Experience: Must possess FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate with Inspector Authorized rating. Prior experience with Aero Club maintenance procedures. Possess the experience and certifications in order to interface and maintain compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and USAF on all issues relating to maintaining and operating general aviation aircraft IAW applicable policy, guidance, and regulations. Experience with planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance management activities, providing guidance or direction to individual Aero Clubs. Experience evaluating the performance and efficiency of Aero Club maintenance operations. Experience with a wide range of principles, concepts, and techniques to implement new Aero Club maintenance procedures **NOTE: Those qualified applicants who meet both the minimum qualification requirement(s) and highly preferred criteria(s) will be considered best qualified for this position and will be referred to the selecting official(s) first for consideration.
