ABOUT THE FINANCIAL CRIME PREVENTION TEAM AT TRUSTLY
At Trustly, Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) helps keep our payment flows safe while enabling the business to grow responsibly and in a compliant way. We operate across KYC, transaction monitoring, sanction screening and fraud, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with regulatory expectations and Trustly’s risk appetite. Our approach combines strong operational execution with data, analytics, and machine-learning-driven detection. We focus on building controls that are precise, explainable, and scalable - using automation and ML where it adds value, while maintaining clear human oversight. As Trustly expands across markets and use cases, FCP ensures risk management evolves in step with the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a QA & Process Expert within Trustly’s FCP function, you own the quality assurance framework and the end-to-end definition of how FCP work is executed. You are the single accountable owner for QA/QC, operational guidelines, and process documentation across the FCP domain. This role exists to ensure that what we do is correct, explainable, auditable, and consistently executed. You understand the full FCP landscape - fraud, AML, sanctions, and KYC - and how regulatory expectations translate into daily operational decisions. You know not only what we do, but why we do it and how it must be done to meet regulatory, audit, and partner expectations.
