Quality Assurance Engineer

Hangzhou, China Full time

Key Responsibilities

· Execute end-to-end QA activities, including test case design, test execution, defect identification, and documentation

· Ensure testing activities comply with defined QA standards/STLC, processes, and timelines

· Perform functional, regression, UAT, and risk-based testing as required

· Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis

· Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues

· Contribute to AI-powered testing, test automation, efficiency improvements, or reusable test assets where applicable

· Maintain accurate test artifacts and provide clear testing status updates

· Support release testing and quality sign-off activities under guidance from QA leads

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline

· 4–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing

· Hand-on testing experience on API and data-related testing, with working knowledge of Python

· Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently on assigned testing tasks

Preferred Experience

· Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments

· Exposure to test automation tools or frameworks

· Experience testing complex systems, data flows, or integrations

· QA certification (e.g. ISTQB) is a plus
