Job Description:

GDIT is your place. At GDIT, people are our differentiator.  As a Quality Assurance Analyst in support of Indian Health Service you will assist in implementing a quality assurance program based on industry best practices.

HOW AN IT QUALITY ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Provide QA support to federal leadership/project managers and the GDIT team to ensure that project staff including our subcontractors have well defined processes.

  • Audit these processes based on set schedule(s).

  • Document results of audits/reviews and write Corrective Action Requests when non-compliances are found.

  • Write Quality Recommendations when opportunities for improvement are observed.

  • Always look for opportunities to improve project performance to meet/exceed Service Level Agreements / Key Performance Indicators.

  • Provide reviews of document repositories for deliverables, work products, process assets and other project artifacts.

  • Provide status of audit activities to management.

  • Represent QA at Team GDIT meetings.

  • Ensure completeness/accuracy of deliverables and work products prior to delivery to the customer, and ensure they adhere to required GDIT and federal standards.

  • Be a trusted resource to the GDIT team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Requires Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 2+ years of experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting medium to large IT projects to include Quality Assurance activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • A basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • Must be able to obtain a SSBI (T5) public trust clearance, which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of relevant Quality Assurance Analyst experience.
  • Experience supporting a federal or state contract.
  • Auditing experience and/or skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience with CMMI / ITIL / ISO framework is a big plus.
  • Experience with Agile development also a big plus.
  • Experience with Oracle/Cerner Electronic Health record systems also a big plus.

The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
