DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team as an Administrative Assistant III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you will provide essential support to Quality leadership team to facilitate business operations. In this position, you will manage complex calendars, coordinate global meetings, handle confidential information, and serve as a key liaison between leadership, internal teams, and external partners. You will enhance efficiency through organizational skills while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting executive leadership
• Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration or related field
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Advanced calendar management and scheduling skills across multiple time zones
• Strong experience coordinating complex travel arrangements and expense reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Concur, PRMS)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong project coordination and event planning capabilities
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
• Experience supporting facilities management and office operations
• Flexibility with work hours as needed
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
• Additional language skills may be considered
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required
