The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP modules to enhance the customer’s business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction through active participation in Workshops, Testing engagements with Key Users, Train the Trainer and Discussions, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients

  • Understand the SGT solution template and deploy this during the roll out projects across the business.

  • Analyze the “as-is” business processes and scenarios of the customer and recommend/develop “to-be” solutions to meet the requirements using SAP standard functions as best possible.

  • Identify true gaps and address them via the Change Request process with the intention of improving the SGT solution template fit to be rolled out globally.

  • Design, configuration and testing of the SAP solutions.

  • Participate in the key data activities in migrating legacy data into SAP using the tools and templates of the SGT solution.

  • Document solution using the tools supported by the SGT program; Blueprint document, Functional specifications, Test scenarios and scripts, Training material and any other documentations required for workshops, discussion, status updates etc.

  • Carry out complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved procedures

  • Provide detailed knowledge of SAP best practices.

  • Experience in SAP troubleshooting skills: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems and map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.

  • Provide level 3 support supporting the SGT support team in managing complex support issues

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field

  • At least 5+ years of SAP experience in implementation projects

  • Strong knowledge in Sales and Distribution.

  • Integration to other SAP modules e.g MM, FICO, PP, PS, QM, CRM would be added advantages.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness and ability to learn other areas outside areas of expertise

  • Good English spoken and writing skills

  • Efficiently communicate both verbally and in written form

  • Good interpersonal skills and customer service skills

  • Be able to coordinate with other teams throughout the global organization

  • Positive and self-motivated personality

  • Strong desire to work in a collaborative environment

  • Self-motivated and has a healthy respect for deadlines
