Job Description

Job Summary:

Enable QME/ISC support for programmes to exceed team goals through engagement with a your department's leadership on product portfolio planning, execution, and maintenance. Critical responsibilities include being a single contact between the business unit and QME/ISC for inquiries and escalations in new product introduction and product continuation projects.

Representing QME/ISC in governance, CPD milestone, project prioritisation and other activities conducted by the business unit project management office. Prepare and deliver program status as required to inform QME/ISC leadership at a regular cadence.

Coordinate with other QME/ISC support organizations to ensure resource management is occurring as required. Communicate project requirements for Manufacturing Industrialization design support of the introduction or maintenance of products into manufacturing and distribution facilities.You will be reporting to Industrialization Design Manager and will be based in Singapore working 5 days/week from office.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the QME/ISC representative, in all business leadership planning supporting NPI/Continuation Engineering projects for specific business' product portfolio.
  • Based on business planning and working with Industrialization architects/product owners, develop resource requirement for Industrialization Design to build program objectives.
  • Actively serve as an QME/ISC representative, with other ISC functions as appropriate, in CPD milestone approvals for new product development programmes.
  • Develop and communicate program/project information as required for QME/ISC and business senior management in scheduled and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Main contact point for escalation of issues involving dependencies between QME/ISC and the department through the execution of projects.
  • Ensure and monitor QME/ISC engagement with Agile Release Trains (ART) as defined by SAFe.Perform these responsibilities for multiple projects.
  • Provide input to business unit AOP as appropriate; additionally, collect and share voice of customer
  • NPI and continuation program success from a QME/ISC support perspective. Mainly captured through feedback from stakeholders in QME/ISC and business management.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Minimum of 8 years of cross functional, leadership experience with introduction of new products into a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree or education
  • Experience leading multiple teams and partnering with peers to resolve conflicts, especially to obtain resources for projects.
  • Familiarity with the industrial automation industry and its products, understanding of manufacturing engineering areas such as EA, FA, TEST, Build and their domain function knowledges, and strong cross-functional, cross-regional, and cross-cultural NPI projects management experience.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate and present information to any and all levels of an organization.
  • Overseeing multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Experience with agile product development methodologies such as SAFe, Project Management, Design for Excellence Df(X), and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Expect 5-10% travel, may be internationa.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering domains, including Electronic Assembly (EA), Final Assembly (FA), Manufacturing Test, and Prototypes Build Execution, with the ability to integrate inputs across these functions.
  • Project execution capability within an Agile framework, with hands‑on experience using Jira, Jama, and Confluence to plan, track, and deliver projects.
  • Understanding on NPI deliverables, manufacturing readiness, risks management, and decision‑making.
  • Solid background in product cost analysis and capital expenditure monitoring, and governance.
  • Experience operating across AP, EMEA, and America time zones, with to support intensive meeting cadence and global program demands.
  • Work within cross-cultures environment, balancing accountability, collaboration, and execution rigor in a matrix structure.
